food bank

St Andrew's Food Bank exists to help put food on the tables of those in urgent need.

 

We open in the church hall every Thursday 1.30-2.30pm and offer bags of food, a warm welcome and a friendly face. Donations to the food bank are always gratefully received.

​We give out an average of 25 bags a week, containing around 325 items in total. Our supplies often run low, so we are always grateful for donations of food. Please leave it at the church office on weekday mornings, or at the back of church when it is open. We also welcome donations of money with which we can purchase food and other necessities.

You do not need a voucher or referral letter. If you are unable to provide food for yourself or your family, you are warmly welcome. You may come once or twice, or you may need to come regularly. You may only need us at the end of a month, or just before pay day. While you are in crisis, we will help you.
