Maundy Thurday, 2nd April, Agape Meal and service.
Maundy Thursday this year falls on Thurday 2nd April
Once again we offer a service in the evening with a simple Agape Supper. The event starts at 6pm in the church hall. An Agape Supper is a "love feast" in which followers of Jesus gather togther for a meal as did the first disciples on the evening before the day on which Jesus died. No great feasting here just a simple gathering of God's people as we reflect on the momentous events of the next day and enjoy food together.
